Strong tensions were noted during the Democratic Party protest, where clashes were recorded on Elbasan Street between protesters, opposition MPs and police forces. The crowd of protesters has moved towards this area, where the situation has escalated with the use of tear gas by the police, while Molotov cocktails have also been reported from protesters. Amid the tensions, Democratic Party deputies were also involved. The "Eagle" forces physically clashed with deputies Luçiano Boçi and Xhelal Mziu, at a moment when the latter attempted to move towards the DP headquarters. "You have no shame, if I were like you I would take off my uniform and hand it over. How do you eat bread for dinner? Shame. You guys are soldiers before crime. Shoot them," says Boçi.
