In Bago Region's Zigon Township, an ambush on a military convoy killed 8 soldiers and led to the seizure of weapons and ammunition, an official from Bago Yoma PDF - Strategy 22 told Khit Thit Media.

At 8:30 a.m. yesterday, March 22, revolutionary forces intercepted a military column of 12 motorcycles departing from Zigon Township in western Bago at the Bae Inn junction. During the battle, 8 junta soldiers were killed and 9 were injured; weapons, ammunition, military equipment, and 3 phones were seized.
