A loud explosion in the middle of the night damaged 8 houses, a sedan, and a motorcycle, but resulted in no injuries. While a cooking gas explosion is suspected, the homeowner insists no gas stove was left on.
Today (March 30, 2026) at 9:30 a.m., Pol. Lt. Manit Khemchu, Deputy Investigation Officer at Suan Phrik Thai Police Station, received a report of a cooking gas explosion that damaged several houses within a housing estate in Ban Klang Subdistrict, Mueang District, Pathum Thani Province. Following the report, he rushed to the scene along with Mr. Panya Noppakham, Mayor of Ban Klang Subdistrict, and other relevant officials.
The scene consisted of several two-story townhouses built adjacent to one another. The force of the blast caused total damage to the primary house, with the structure, roof, and walls scattered across the area. A car parked in front of the house and one motorcycle were damaged. No injuries were reported. Eight neighboring houses sustained damage from the blast radius.
