Law enforcement officers detained two suspects in the murder of two men in a village in the Kharkiv region.

Details: It has been previously established that on January 29, in the village of Gusyna Polyana, Chuguiv district, two men who had left a military unit without permission with weapons were in a house together with a 41-year-old owner and a 26-year-old local resident. A conflict arose between those present while drinking alcohol together.
The attackers then decided to kill both men. The 38-year-old suspect fired several shots from a Kalashnikov assault rifle at the 26-year-old victim, who died on the spot. After that, the suspect went into another room and shot the 41-year-old owner of the house in the head. The man also died from the wound.
In order to conceal the crime, the perpetrators wrapped the bodies of the deceased in plastic materials and blankets, then moved them to a non-residential building on the property and left the scene.
The exposure of the suspects was preceded by painstaking work by law enforcement officers of the Zhytomyr region. On March 8, police officers located and detained the men in the city of Korosten, where they were hiding. During the searches, they seized an assault rifle, an assault rifle, and ammunition.
