In Sumy region, as a result of enemy attacks on Saturday, a 20-year-old girl died, her 6-year-old sister was seriously injured, a man was also killed, and two more were injured.

Verbatim from the prosecutor's office : "On March 28, 2026, at about 12:00, the enemy, according to preliminary data, fired artillery at a house of peaceful residents of the Znob-Novgord community of the Shostka district.

As a result of the enemy attack, a 20-year-old girl died, and her 6-year-old sister was seriously injured."

Details : In addition, at around 4:00 PM, the enemy attacked a motorcycle with a drone that was moving through the territory of the Velykypysarivska community of the Okhtyrsky district.

A 46-year-old and a 40-year-old man were injured as a result of the attack by the occupiers.

Updated : Later, the head of the Sumy OVA, Oleh Hrygorov, reported that a 75-year-old man died in the Znob-Novgorod community. The enemy drone detonated when it approached him on the highway. The man received injuries incompatible with life.
