On 13 March 2026, in Pale township (Yinmarbin district, Sagaing region), the Myanmar military launched airstrikes on villages in northwestern Pale township using three gyrocopters coming from the Monywa-based Northwestern Regional Military Command starting from about 11 am. Villagers were forced to flee their homes. There were no casualties.
