On 13 March 2026, in Myeik township (Myeik district, Tanintharyi region), a column of about 20 members of the Kaw Thoo Lei Army attacked the Baw Ti-Ah Moe border gate of the Karen National Liberation Army (KNU/KNLA) Brigade-4 at around 6:00 am. The KNU/KNLA retreated from the gate. The Kaw Thoo Lei Army set fire to the gate. Casualties unknown.
