On 13 March 2026, in Hlaingbwe township (Hpa-An district, Kayin state), the Myanmar military conducted drone strikes using 3 Kamikaze drones against the headquarter of the Karen National Liberation Army (KNU/KNLA) Brigade-7, round 9:10 am. Location coded as Hlaingbwe township as the Brigade-7 is located in Hlaingbwe township. Only two of them were exploded and the third drone was shot down, causing it to crash near the church without detonating. There were no fatalities.
