A military column that had been stationed in Sizwe Village, Salin Township, Magway Region, for approximately three months suffered numerous casualties when it was attacked with heavy weaponry during its retreat, Phoenix, the head of Ayar Brother Force LPDF, told Khit Thit Media. On the morning of March 16, a column of about 200 soldiers retreating toward Seikphyu after a three-month deployment in Sizwe Village was intercepted by a joint force of Ayar Brother Force LPDF and Salin Township PDF Zone 3. The revolutionary forces fired over forty 60mm mortar shells, resulting in many soldiers being killed or wounded and subsequently transported away in Faw trucks.
