Rocket event in Balochistan, Mangochar, Kalat District area, Pakistan on Mon 23rd March 2026

An attack targeting Security Forces (SFs) was reported in the Mangochar area of Kalat District in the night of March 23, reports Zrumbesh. Unidentified armed men, suspected to be Baloch insurgents, carried out the attack, resulting in casualties among the Pakistani forces. However, no official confirmation has been issued regarding the number of those killed or injured. Following the attack, a heavy contingent of Pakistani forces reportedly launched a response operation in the area. During the advance, an armoured vehicle belonging to the SFs was also targeted by armed men using rockets, causing damage to the vehicle. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
