On March 22, four personnel of the Assam Police were injured when suspectedUnited Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) militants attacked an Assam Police Commando camp at Jagun 10 Mile in Tinsukia District of Assam, reports India TodayNE. The attackers reportedly lobbed five grenades at the camp and opened fire, triggering a retaliatory response from Security Forces (SFs) and a gunfight lasting around 30 minutes. Police sources suspect the involvement of ULFA-I, though no group has claimed responsibility. Three personnel sustained minor injuries while one was seriously injured. Following the attack, SFs launched combing operations and intensified security measures, including roadblocks and surveillance, in the area near the Arunachal Pradesh border.
