On March 22, miscreants entered the house of Osman Gani (42), who is Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP’s) general secretary of Ward No. 2 BNP of Sarafbhata Union in Rangunia Upazila (Sub-District) of Chittagong District, and opened fire, injuring him and his mother, Acia Begum (70), reports Prothom Alo.|On March 21, vandalism and attack on the business establishment of former municipal mayor and Rajshahi District Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) convening committee member, Mizanur Rahman Mizan, took place in Barendra Bhaban on Kuthipara Road in Tanore Bazar of Tanore Upazila (Sub-District) in Rajshahi District, reports Prothom Alo. Police arrested a young man identified as Mehedi Hasan (25), with no political affiliation, at the scene of this incident.
