Undefined Explosive Device (UED) event in Bihar, Nawada area, India on Sat 21st March 2026

On March 21, two cadres of the People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI) were arrested with explosives and weapons during a joint operation by the Bihar Police and the Special Task Force (STF) in Nawada District of Bihar, reports ETV Bharat. The arrested militants were identified as Dayanand Rajvanshi alias Gurjar alias Pappu and Mithilesh Rajvanshi, both residents of Hardia village under Rajauli Police Station limits. Security Forces (SFs) recovered over 40 kilograms of explosives packed in 325 small packets, two .315 bore rifles, 20 rounds of ammunition, nine detonators, around 100 metres of cordex wire, and tactical gear including bulletproof plates and headgear. PLFI is a splinter group of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist).
