On March 18, Border Security Force (BSF) arrested five drug smugglers and recovered heroin, weapons, and a drone in Gurdaspur District of Punjab, reports Dainik Savera Times. Acting on intelligence inputs, BSF intercepted a drone carrying heroin from across the India-Pakistan border. Two smugglers were initially arrested, leading to the arrest of three more associates. Illegal pistols and ammunition were also recovered. The accused were handed over to the police for further interrogation. Officials stated that the operation foiled a cross-border narcotics smuggling attempt using drones.
