RPG event in Balochistan, Malant, Kech District area, Pakistan on Mon 16th March 2026

Three Army personnel were killed while four others critically injured when Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) cadres carried out a coordinated assault on the Army camp in the Malant area of Tump tehsil (revenue unit) in Kech District of Balochistan on March 16, reports Zrumbesh. While claiming responsibility of the attack, the BLF ‘spokesperson’ Major Gwahram Baloch said cadres strategically surrounded the camp from multiple directions and engaged the personnel in an intense close-range attack. Heavy weapons, including B-10 82mm rockets, RPGs, sniper rifles, grenade launchers, and other armaments, were employed to target key positions within the camp. BLF cadres also destroyed surveillance cameras installed at the camp and inflicted substantial damage on essential camp infrastructure.
