The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) cadres carried out an intelligence-based action and killed one member of a ‘death squad’ (State-backed local armed militia), identified as Parvez, son of Nek Bakht, in the Absar area of Turbat tehsil (revenue unit) in Kech District of Balochistan on March 12, reports Zrumbesh. According to the statement issued by the BLF’s ‘spokesperson’, Major Gwahram Baloch, Parvez had previously been associated with the movement but surrendered to the Pakistani army in 2017 and later became active against the national movement. The BLF said its fighters attempted to capture him alive, but he resisted and was killed during the operation.
