This morning in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Roberto Castañeda Tejeda, director of the Municipal Drinking Water, Drainage, Sewerage, and Sanitation Board (JAPAMI), was assassinated in an armed attack while driving his vehicle. Mayor Lorena Alfaro strongly condemned the killing and issued a statement expressing her condolences. She described the victim as an exemplary public servant and a great human being, highlighting his courage and dedication, and offered full support to his family and colleagues.
