On 12 March 2026, in Taungoo town (Taungoo township, Taungoo district, Bago-East region), the combined forces of the Brave Warriors for Myanmar, the Mountain Knights Civilian Defense Force, the Anti-Coup People's Liberation Force and the Karen National Liberation Army Brigade 2 Battalion 5 attacked and fired thirteen 107mm rockets against the Myanmar military's Taungoo (Ketumati) Air Base targeting the aviation fuel storage tanks and other strategic points around 11:08 pm. The Myanmar military's Air Force retaliated with about six rounds of heavy weapons and small arms fire. The fighting lasted for about two hours. Casualties unknown.
