On 12 March 2026, Pakistani military forces carried out airstrikes in Hanzala Abad village of Pul-e Charkhi area in Kabul - PD21. Locals stated that the first Pakistani airstrike hit a residential house, killing four members of a family including two men and two women, injuring more than 30 people, and destroying more than 16 residential houses. The second airstrike targeted a workshop, injuring three mechanics and destroying 30 shops and 10 vehicles. UNAMA confirmed the killing of 4 civilians and the wounding of 14 others, including children and women, as a result of the Pakistani airstrikes. However, Pakistan claimed that they targeted 'terrorism-affiliated facilities and infrastructure, including bases and logistical camps in Kabul, Kandahar, Paktia, and Paktika provinces' (coded separately). Total 4 fatalities.
