On 12 March 2026, Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike in Zebqine town (Tyr, South). The IDF claimed that during night operations, they attacked and killed senior members of the Imam Hussein Division, affiliated with the IRGC's Quds Force, which operates under the IRGC. Among the targets was commander Ali Maslam Tabaja, whom the IDF described as a senior and central commander of both the IRGC's Quds Force and Hezbollah. The IDF did not specify the exact location of the attack (coded to this event). Also killed in the same strike were Jihad Al-Spira, deputy commander of the Imam Hussein Division; Sajid Al-Handesa, head of the division's drone unit; and other senior commanders. Total fatalities coded as 3.
