On 12 March 2026, Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike in Kfar Dounin town (Bint Jbeil, Al Nabatieh). Casualties are unknown. The IDF claimed a strike targeted and killed a member of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Abu Dharr Mohammadi, who was reportedly serving as a commander in Hezbollah's missile unit. According to the IDF, Mohammadi 'coordinated between Hezbollah and senior Iranian officials and was a key figure in Hezbollah's military force build-up in the field of missiles.' The IDF did not specify the exact location where he was killed (coded to this event).
