On 12 March 2026, the Israeli military dropped illumination flares over Kfar Chouba town (Hasbeiya, Al Nabatieh) and combed the area with machine-gun fire as part of broader operations in southern Lebanon. There were no casualties. The IDF also announced it had carried out a wave of airstrikes against Hezbollah infrastructure, including military sites and rocket launchers, across southern Lebanon.
