On 12 March 2026, in Santa Luzia (Minas Gerais), unidentified armed men shot and killed a civilian and injured two people, including a drug trafficker, in the Vila Iris neighborhood. According to witness, the perpetrators were looking for another drug trafficker but ended up killing the civilian by mistake. The second person shot and injured was the mother of the trafficker who was the target of the attack. 1 fatality.
