Around 11 March 2026 (as reported), in Yinmarbin district (Sagaing region), the NUG's Ministry of Defense (coded as PDF: People's Defense Force) announced that they had detained the commander, deputy commander, and alleged perpetrators from the People's Defense Force - Yinmarbin District (Battalion-20) who were involved in the detention and rape of their former female member around 29 December 2025 (coded separately). They were detained for investigation.
