On 11 March 2026, in Win Wa village (Thayetchaung township, Dawei district, Tanintharyi region), a combined force of the Karen National Liberation Army (KNU/KNLA) Brigade-4 Battalion-12, Brigade-6 Battalion-27, Brigade-4 Special Commando Unit and the People's Defense Force attacked the Win Wa outpost of the Myanmar military and captured the outpost at around 4:00 pm. The Myanmar military conducted airstrikes conducted airstrikes during the armed clash. The combined force seized some arms. Casualties unknown.
