On 11 March 2026, in Hpa Lu Lay village (Myawaddy township, Myawaddy district, Kayin state), the Myanmar military continued conducting an airstrike with a Y-12 jet fighter and dropped bombs in the vicinity around Hpa Lu Pagoda Hill. The airstrike destroyed the houses and damaged a school and a clinic. Casualties unknown.
