On 11 March 2026, Afghan border forces and Pakistani military forces exchanged fire using heavy weapons along the Pakistan-Afghanistan Torkham border crossing in Torkham town (Khyber, KPK), across Nangarhar province in Afghanistan. At least one suspected Afghan civilian was killed in the crossfire. Local sources claim the deceased was an Afghan citizen who was found alongside an Afghan identity card. However, Afghan accounts claim the body belonged to a member of Pakistani forces. Total 1 fatality.
