On 20 May 2021, in Dagon Myothit (South) township (Dagon Myothit-South, Yangon-east District, Yangon Region), an explosion occurred at Aungzeya Street near South Dagon Myoma Police Station at around 7am. One police officer was injured in his leg and arm. No casualties reported.
