On 11 March 2026, armed clashes erupted between military forces of Syria and unknown armed men in Mashahdeh - Kherbet Elsawda village in western Homs countryside during a raid carried out by the military forces to arrest wanted individuals. During the clashes, one member of the military forces was accidentally shot and killed by members of his own forces. 1 fatality.
