On 11 March 2026, gunmen from at least one unidentified tribe clashed in Dawanim Hajji Hasan agricultural area in central Maysan province (location unknown, coded as Amara city, Maysan) due to a dispute over residential land, exchanging intense gunfire with light and medium weapons. Police forces cordoned off the scene, raided homes and broke up the dispute. They also arrested 6 suspects, seizing their weapons and cars. There were no casualties.
