On 11 March 2026, military forces, likely American or Israeli (likely as part of the ongoing US-Iran conflict), carried out two airstrikes on an old (empty) Popular Mobilization Forces headquarters near Al Tahrir police station in Musayab city (Babil). Earlier that day, a drone had fallen inside the nearby Al Muwahhad car park in Musayb city, after which security forces cordoned off the site and opened an investigation. 2 member of the PMF were killed and several injured. 2 fatalities.
