On 11 March 2026, in Salvador - Pau da Lima (Bahia), unidentified armed individuals shot and killed two teenaged girls in the Sao Marcos neighborhood, one of whom had an involvement with drug trafficking. The perpetrators broke into the girls' house and fired against them, killing the first one. They abducted the second girl, took her to a remote location and also shot and killed her, escaping afterwards. The authorship and motivations are unknown. 2 fatalities.
