On 11 March 2026, an unidentified armed group were repelled by VSN members when they attacked civilians in Ahun village, also spelled Aun (Irepodun, Kwara). The group macheted and injured a woman and abducted her daughter in-law and two grandchildren before they were forced to retreat by the VSN. There were no fatalities.
