Missile event in Tehran, Tehran - District 4 area, Iran, Islamic Republic of on Tue 10th March 2026

On 10 March 2026, afternoon, the Israeli air forces carried out airstrikes and missile attacks against the traffic police building on the Bagheri Highway, the Qasem Soleimani exit, the Tehran-Pars neighborhood, and near the Rotano Tower in Tehran - District 4 (Tehran, Tehran). At least seven cars were hit and five people killed in the airstrike and four by missile attacks, while injuries were also reported. Time of day unclear, Israeli forces also attacked the Imam Hussein university in Tehran - District 4, affiliated with the IRGC, which Israel claimed to be a place for the development and production of ballistic missiles and used as an undergroud route and for operational activities. Israeli forces were coded as the main actor based on reporting that Israeli strikes focus on western and central Iran, while US operations are concentrated in the south. Israel and the United States launched a joint operation codenamed 'Roaring Lion' by Israel and 'Epic Fury' by the United States on 28 February 2026. At least 9 fatalities.
