On 10 March 2026, US and Israeli warplanes (coded as MFOUS as part of the ongoing US-Iran conflict) struck the Popular Mobilization Forces 51st Brigade (Salah al-Din Brigade) headquarters in the area of Qasr Al Abid on the highest peak of Makhol Mountain (coded as Makhol Mountain, Salah Al Din).
