On 9 March 2026, in the rural area of Ituango municipality (Antioquia), military forces bombed a camp of the 18th front of the FARC dissident group. The operation included an aerial bombardment and subsequent ground clashes. According to authorities, seven suspected dissidents were killed, including the front's leader. A female combatant believed to be the leader's sister was injured and arrested. Local communities denounced damage to their homes and to the local school during the clashes. 7 fatalities.
