On 9 March 2026, military troops, in collaboration with Benue State Civil Protection Guard, clashed with a Benue militia, killing 2, while others fled with gunshot wounds in Tse-Anka, coded to nearest most poulated area Tor Donga (Katsina Ala, Benue) during an operation. Items recovered include one AK-47 rifle, five rifle magazines, 61 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition, one round of 7.62mm x 54 ammunition, nine rounds of 9mm ammunition, a Bajaj motorcycle, 82 SIM cards, six ATM cards, and several charms.
