Around 8 March 2026 (as reported), near Myauk San village (Yegyi township, Pathein district, Ayeyarwady region), a combined force of the Arakan Army (ULA/AA) and allies attacked and captured 2 outposts of the No. 344 Artillery Battalion of the Myanmar military. About 12 military soldiers from those two outposts retreated to the base of the No.344 Artillery Battalion. The combined force seized heavy weapons inside the outposts. About 4 military soldiers were killed. 4 fatalities.
