On 8 March 2026, in Yesagyo township (Pakokku district, Magway region), the People's Defense Force - Yesagyo (PaKaPha) conducted a mine attack against the Myanmar military column of about 150 troops from battalions under the 99th Light Infantry Division between Kyauk Hlay Khar and the 12-mile marker on the Yesagyo-Pakokku road around 5:30 AM. The PaKaPha members also fired small weapons. During the attack, 3 military soldiers were killed and two were injured and were transported to the Pakokku township Hospital. 3 fatalities.
