On 8 March 2026, suspected Iranian forces (coded as IRGC by default) conducted drone strikes, using 2 drones, targeting two telecommunications towers on the Befri Miri summit (Halabcha, Al Sulaymaniyah), causing material damage and telephone and internet outages in the area. There were no casualties. IRGC forces had targeted communication towers in the same area on 5 March (coded as a separate event).
