On 7 March 2026, unidentified militants (coded as TTP) detonated an improvised explosive device near the main gate of a supermarket in the Rustam Bazar area of Wana town (Wana, South Waziristan, KPK). The blast occurred while policemen were conducting patrol duties. Two cops and one civilian were killed, while 31 people, including five policemen and 26 civilians, were injured in the IED blast. Total 3 fatalities and 31 injured.
