On 7 March 2026, in Pauktaw township (Sittwe district, Rakhine state), the Myanmar military's naval vessel stationed under the Sat Roe Kya bridge fired eight rounds of Bofors 40mm anti-aircraft shells. The Myanmar military's Shwe Min Gan naval base fired three rounds of 120mm heavy weapons. Casualties unknown.
