On 7 March 2026, clashes took place between Syrian army members supported by pro-regime militias and As-Sweida National Guards on Ariqa-Dama axis in As Sweida countryside with heavy machine guns. A shell fell in Ariqa town seriously injuring a man and his wife. There were no fatalities.
