On 7 March 2026, Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike targeting a vehicle in Arnoun town (Al Nabatieh, Al Nabatieh), injuring several paramedics. During a second attempt to evacuate the wounded from the town, the Israeli army again targeted civil defense teams from the Islamic Health Authority and the Red Cross, injuring two ICRC workers. The IDF also announced a wave of airstrikes targeting Hezbollah sites across eastern and southern Lebanon, including rocket launchers, weapons caches, and military facilities.
