On 7 March 2026, at dawn, 'Southern' forces (coded as generic IRG forces + Giants Brigade) clashed with Houthi forces and 'thwarted their attack', using heavy-to-medium weapons, along the Murays front in Az Zaylah area (Qaatabah, Ad Dali). The Houthis fired tank shells and the southern forces replied at the source of fire leading to the clash that lasted 1 hour. The clashes resulted in the injury of 4 Houthi fighters and at least 3 southern forces's soldier (up to 5 according to some sources). The clash started the night of 6 March and continued till the dawn of 7 March.
