On 7 March 2026, in Cerro Azul (Magdalena), for the second consecutive day, Gulf Clan and ACSN members clashed with each other near the Serankwa Indigenous community over territorial disputes. Three people, including one Arhuaco Indigenous leader, a minor, and another person died as a result of a grenade explosion and at least nine members of the Arhuaco Indigenous group were injured and taken to hospital. Two female residents were reported missing and houses and other property were set on fire. In-person classes were suspended due to explosive material in the area and mobility was restricted. 3 fatalities.
