On March 24, Russian drones attacked the Lviv region, as a result of which a UNESCO heritage building caught fire in Lviv, another private house caught fire in the village of Sernyki, and 32 people were injured.

Direct speech: " As a result of an enemy attack, a residential building in the center of Lviv was damaged.

Details: According to the mayor, explosions were heard in the city during the air raid alert, and air defense forces were deployed.

The head of the OVA later clarified that at least two people were seriously injured as a result of the attack. According to preliminary information, UNESCO heritage was damaged.

He also warned of a high risk of another drone strike and urged people to stay in shelters.

Updated: Kozytskyi later reported that as a result of a Russian drone attack in Lviv, residential buildings on Soborna Square, Brativ Rohatyntsiv and Chervonaya Kalyna streets caught fire.

Also, a private house in the village of Sernyki, Bibrsky territorial community, caught fire due to falling UAV debris.

Kozytsky's direct speech: "Firefighters are working everywhere.

Seven people were previously injured. One person is in serious condition.

Information is being updated. Stay in shelters until further notice!"

Updated: Later, Sadovyi wrote that the number of victims had increased to 13.

Later, the head of the OVA reported that an architectural monument of national importance – the ensemble of the Bernardine Monastery – was damaged in Lviv.

It is located in the historical area of ​​Lviv, which is included in the International List of Cultural Properties under Enhanced Protection.

According to Kozytsky, the fire spread to the buildings adjacent to the complex.

Critical infrastructure facilities were also hit in the Komarnivska and Dobrosynsko-Maherivska communities.

At the same time, information about a fire on Brativ Rohatyntsiv Street in Lviv has not been confirmed.

At 6:55 p.m., Sadovy wrote that the number of victims had increased again.

Sadovy's direct speech: " As of now, there are 22 victims of varying degrees of severity in Lviv hospitals."

Updated: At 20:36, Kozytskyi reported that the number of people injured as a result of the drone attack in the Lviv region had increased to 26.

Updated . At 10:04 PM, Kozytskyi reported that at this hour, 32 people were known to have been injured as a result of a daytime drone attack in the Lviv region.
