RPG event in Magway Region, Pakokku area, Myanmar on Sun 15th March 2026

Revolutionary allied forces intercepted and attacked a terrorist military council column advancing through Pakokku Township, Magway Region, resulting in five military deaths and the seizure of some weapons and ammunition, according to an information officer from the People's Liberation Army (PLA).

At approximately 7:00 a.m. yesterday, March 15, revolutionary alliance forces ambushed a military council column of about 70 troops traveling from the Kan Taw village camp toward the Nyung Jit Pin Pyu Saw Htee village. The ensuing clash lasted nearly four hours, during which five terrorist soldiers were killed on the spot.

During the post-battle area clearance, some ammunition, hand grenades, and a few landmines were seized from the military council troops. No prisoners were taken, and the attacked column eventually retreated back to Kan Taw Village, from where they had originally departed.
