Aung Myo Tun, a military informant in Taungdwingyi Township, Magway Region, who had been tracking PDF camps and calling in the terrorist military to arrest civilians, was shot and killed, a local source told Khit Thit Media.

On March 10, around 5:30 AM, revolutionary forces attacked Aung Myo Tun while he was visiting a bean field outside of his home in Si Thar Gyi Village. He reportedly died instantly at the scene.

Aung Myo Tun was known for gathering intelligence on PDF camp locations for the military and reporting local villagers to the junta under the guise of being involved in the revolution, leading to their arrests.
