The Win Wa military base in Thayetchaung Township, Tanintharyi Region, has been attacked and seized, resulting in 67 terrorist soldiers killed and the capture of over 40 assorted weapons, according to a statement from KNU Myeik-Dawei District and local revolutionary military sources.

On March 11, at approximately 4:00 PM, revolutionary forces successfully completed the takeover of the Win Wa base, which had been stationed in Min Dat Village along the Dawei-Myeik Union Highway (No. 8) for over 30 years.
